but the part im really interested is on the controll thing.
i was interested on something i could control with a stage lighting effect program so i could make it look like if a ball of light is moving.





this screen is made from tiny little light bulbs ... and ali d mirel is controling it via a program i forgot its name.
if you can do something like this tell me cause im trying to organize something for september and i think our budget could buy that from you.
so if you are intersted i should talk with them and see how much we could give you for something like this.

5x5x5 means 125 Leds.. x RGB = 375 led to be controlled...
Current: 375 x 20 mA = 7,5 A @ 6Volt = 45 Watt
over 500 solder junctions...

as i told you need it instead of a video wall need it to be big. its gonna be behind the dj or something like that.
so maybe for that its gonna be better if its only the controller plus the connections etc. and then i could buy from here the leds and i coul just adjust them my self with your instructions
(note that i dont know much about it just always wanted to do something similar to the video i showed you)
plus i was only wondering how much it will cost somehting that big. but IF the cost suits our budget ill buy it.

2x2m? It depends, how dense the leds should be...
Most common are 5mm Leds (round 5mm diameter). With a pitch of 10mm it should look nice and its easy to calculate
So you get 200 leds in an row and you need 200 rows
40000 Leds (With this amount of leds, you should pay under 10cent/led)
Maybe you should think of a bigger light source than leds

my original idea was to recreate a screen.
only that instead of a screen with pixels i would have a square with small leds as pixels.
so yes i need them to be dense small
so i could create shapes and stuff.
ive seen the same idea made by a greek guy. he didnt use leds he used normal light bulbs big ones but he made basic shapes with light like squeres triangles circles.
