You cant... It aren't really files wich you can play as a movie it are just files that can
Be playd only in nexuiz.. If you want to edit them then i suggest using software for it like 'wegame' wich is free but you have other betters to but those aren't for free... I can give you some names of good software for this if you want. (not free ones)

but the thing is 1st. i use a ma not a pc. so they have to be .dmg not .exe

2nd asgar told me how to do it via console . i have it all saved on fb. if you want i can post t here too.

The names: wegame(free), Taksi(free), fraps(not free but in my opinion the best i know), camstudio (free but not recommended to use for nexuiz)

There is a simple recording feature implemented in Nexuiz, called "cl_capturevideo"
cl_capturevideo 1 records your demo on the highest graphics, even if 2 fps, with the best smoothness I have ever seen in game recording.
But it takes a really long time to record a game like a 20 minute game, it takes aproximately, 2-3 hours, maybe more?
Use it, it is good. The recorded output file can be found in Nexuiz/data/video (or videos, don't know for sure). File format is OGV, in Mac this shouldn't be a problem, Windows users have to buy a good video editor or an converter for formats

Fraps is good, but you need the crack for that. Fraps also records in realtime, but a bit shittier quality if not configured right.

Yeh i know but apnea allready said everythig is free so if he uses fraps he'll get the cracked

Fraps is the only I tested when not using the implemented record feature.

I use Fraps and i have to say, that it's very good. With the right confiq, you can make really good videos. But you need a good computer and i don't know, if it runs on mac.

If you want it, i have it somewhere on my computer... O.o
